BFS and the new Be Connected initiative

Broadband for Seniors will soon be replaced by the new Be Connected initiative.  Be Connected will commence on 3 October 2017 to help older Australians get the most out of being online.

There will be a new website with a range of interesting and interactive training tools and resources to help you get started.  There will also be a network of participating community organisations, similar to BFS kiosks, to provide you with free, personalised coaching and support.

Older Australians wanting to know more about Be Connected and where to get help, can still ring the same Helpline number: 1300 795 897 – it will not be changing.

From 3rd October 2017, the BFS website will no longer be available and will divert to the new Be Connected website.

Community organisations wanting to become Partners of the Be Connected Network or find out more about what it can offer, should contact the Be Connected National Network Manager: Good Things Foundation at www.goodthingsfoundation.org.au
